  • Overcame keyword exclusion and semantic drift inherent in standard vector searches. Optimized latency and reduced external dependencies by replacing standalone BM25 engines with native PostgreSQL Full Text Search (FTS).
  • Engineered a deterministic hybrid search pipeline combining facet extraction, FTS, and pgvector semantic search, reranked via Cross-encoders. Implemented a Small Language Model (SLM) as a routing judge to dynamically query either PostgreSQL or Neo4j based on user intent.
